The Agricultural Development Bank of China will provide central China's Hubei province with loans totaling 30 billion yuan (3.6 billion US dollars) between 2005 and 2007 to support its agricultural production, circulation and technological upgrading.
According to Zhou Jianwei, provincial deputy governor, the loans will be a support to stimulate the province's agricultural development and help ease the financial "bottleneck" restricting the further development of key agricultural businesses.
The province has done a lot in recent years to support the development of the province's key agricultural businesses, 22 of which have been listed as "state-class key enterprises."
