Wang/Guo face Liu/Bai in mixed doubles final

China's Wang Liqin/Guo Yue defeated teammates Yan Sen/Guo Yan 4-1 on Wednesday to reach the mixed doubles final at the 48th world table tennis championships.

Wang/Guo will vie for the title with another Chinese pair Liu Guozheng/Bai Yang, who advanced with a 4-1 victory over Qiu Yike/Cao Zhen in the other semifinal.

The final will take place on Wednesday's evening.

China has never lost the mixed doubles event since 1991.
