Labor wins election, exit poll shows

Exit poll conducted by BBC and the Independent Television in Britain on Thursday indicates that Tony Blair is set to win his historic third term as prime minister.

The findings which were announced as voting closed at 10:00 pm were based on 19,800 voters from 120 polling stations across the Britain. It suggests Blair's majority will be reduced from 161 seats in the parliament to 66 seats.
