Senior CPC official urges to intensify anti-corruption efforts
font size

A senior CPC official on Friday has urged discipline inspection commissions at all levels to strengthen the efforts of fighting corruption and severely punish the corrupt officials in line with law.

Wu Guanzheng, secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Central Commission for Discipline Inspection made the remarks during his inspection tour in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from May 2 to 6.

He stressed that discipline inspection commissions at all levels should comprehensively perform the duties, further improve their capability of spotting corruption and earnestly safeguard the Party's discipline, so as to maintain the Party's advanced nature.

Wu listened to reports from the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous regional Committee of CPC and the local governments and paid visits to local industrial enterprises, villages, customs and ports, in a bid to learn the local economic and social development, as well as the local anti-corruption work.
