Venezuela waives visa for South Korean tourists
font size

The Venezuelan government has given visa exemptions to South Koreans visiting the South American country on tourist purposes, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Saturday.

Venezuela has implemented the measure since April 18 that allows South Korean tourists to enter and stay for up to 90 days without visas, the ministry was quoted by Yonhap as saying.

The visa waiver program was Venezuela's unilateral action marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries on April 29, it said. South Korea allows Venezuelans to stay up to 30 days.
