China begins to make fuel injectors with its own IP
font size

China has succeeded in developing electronic fuel injection (EFI) for the first time. The DH series of fuel injectors developed by Liuzhou Guoji Industrial Co. in Guangxi has been proved recently to work well by a experts' team led by Guo Konghui, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering.

Fuel injector is an important component in an EFI system for auto making. European, American and Japanese makers dominate the world market for the system. China has to depend on imported products. The EFI system is a key R&D project in the industry in China.

The DH line carries complete intellectual property rights. It is learned that the producer has won domestic orders for some 300,000 units.
