font size

The "red former capital" Ruijin in Jiangxi received an average of 15,000 domestic and overseas visitors each day during the May Day holiday. A total of 105,000 tourists have made Ruijin a destination of their trips.

During this year's golden week Ruijin launched several tourist routes such as One-day Tour To Seek Roots of the Republic", "The Manner of the Red Capital - A Three-day Tour Experiencing the Hakka Customs". The city also highlights four spots of red tourism.

These include a small cinema featuring movies on the theme of "searching the red memory" - red movies such as The Long March were shown at the hall in Shazhouba where the Second National Congress of the Chinese Soviet Republic was held; dancing and singing performances on the theme of "experiencing the red emotion" - dancing and singing programs such as musical Red Capital - Ode to Life were performed at the former site of Yeping; order programs of collected red stories on the theme of "listening to the red classics" - more than 130 stories about the revolution in the former soviet region were available for tourists to order; public lectures on the history of the former soviet region with the theme of "seeking the roots of the red China" held at the hall where the National Congress of the Chinese Soviet Republic was held.
