Chinese CPPCC chairman leaves for four-nation Latin American tour

Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), left Beijing Saturday for an official good-will visits to Mexico, Cuba, Colombia and Uruguay.

Jia was invited by Diego Fernandez, senate president of the Mexican Congress of the Union, Ricardo Alarcon, president of the National Assembly of the People's Power of Cuba, Colombian Congress President Luis Gomez and the Uruguayan government.
