The Sixth China International Vegetables Exposition held in Shouguang city of east China's Shandong province concluded Saturday with foreign-related contracted volumes hitting 9.67 billion yuan (about 1.16 billion US dollars), said sources at the expo.
The 18-day event, with the theme of "Green, Science and Future",included a farm product trade fair and the vegetable exposition. A total of 117 foreign-funded projects were signed during the expo, with contracted volumes totaling 9.67 billion yuan (some 1.16 billion US dollars).
The farm product trade fair clinched the deals of 31 projects with contracted volumes reaching 3.25 billion yuan (391 million US dollars). Eighty-six contracts were signed during the vegetables exposition, with contracted volumes hitting 6.42 billion yuan (773million US dollars).
The trade transactions of various products during the expo totaled 15.3 billion yuan (1.84 billion US dollars), the source said.
