Senior CPC official meets with ROK congressmen

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met in Beijing Tuesday with a trans-party delegation of ROK congressmen led by Deputy Speaker Park Hee-Tae.

Expressing his appreciation of the exchanges between the parties in China and the Republic of Korea (ROK), Wang said the CPC is ready to improve friendly exchanges and cooperation with major ROK parties to promote the stable and healthy development of China-ROK comprehensive cooperative partnership.

Park said the ROK wants to join hands with China to maintain the fast development of bilateral relations so as to benefit the two peoples and promote peace and stability in Northeast Asia.
