font size

In its 23rd Announcement in 2005 issued on May 11, China's Ministry of Commerce released its final decision after anti-dumping investigation into the imported originating in Japan, the United States and the European Union.

The bulletin mentions that during the investigation, dumping relating to the neoprene mentioned above incurred Chinese industries concerned substantial damages and the damages turned out to be the consequence of the dumping.

The Ministry of Commerce decided to levy anti-dumping tariff ranging from 2 percent to 151 percent on such neoprene with a time limit of five years.

The case was put on file for investigation on November 10, 2003 as the ministry recognized that the application by Chongqing Changshou Chemical Co., Ltd and Shanxi Synthetic Rubber Group Co., Ltd. was eligible.
