Tibet Autonomous Region witnesses a 12% annual economic growth

At the ongoing Fourth Session of the Eighth National People's Congress in Tibet Autonomous Region, Chairman of the regional Party committee Xiangbu Pingcuo announced that Tibet aims to realise a 12 percent GDP increase in the economic increase this year. In the past, Tibet has maintained a 12 percent growth of output value for four consecutive years.

Meanwhile, Party committee in Tibet also vows to achieve a ten percent income increase for farmers and herdsmen, maintaining the two-digit growth to reach 2,060 yuan for three consecutive years.
