Japanese firms invest in Yantai auto mold production

The Japanese Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and Fuji Techno Industries Corporation put $15 million into forming Yantai Mitsui Fuji Auto Mold Co. Ltd. in Yantai of Shandong province. The both sides signed an agreement at the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone Wednesday.

According to sources the project is mainly concerned with developing, designing, manufacturing and processing key auto components containing auto steels and auto molds, clamps, checking fixture and related components, stampings and welding assemblies.
