Fire fighters work tensely outside the exploded oil depot in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, May 13, 2005. The blast occurred at 3:30 p.m. Friday, leaving at least four people killed and one injured.

World's largest red pottery artwork
The picture taken on May 13, 2005 shows a red pottery artwork "All Blessings" created by Lu Quanzhi, a painter and pottery artist living in Nanning, capital of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The 3.16-meter-long, 1.38-meter-wide and 1.58-meter-high pottery artwork is made up of 116 gourds with different sizes. It boasts the largest of its kind in the world.

Fufu and Linyang are said to be the pair to move in Taiwan
Three-year-old pandas Fufu(up) and Linyang are acording to a HK newspaper to be the pair to move in Taiwan. They were transferred from southwest Sichan province to Southeast Fujian Province a month ago to have themselves adjusted to the climate of the region, which is considerred very similar to that of Taipei. Fufu and Linyang, weighing 110 kilograms and 86 kilogram respectively, consume 20 kilograms of fresh bamboo daily, not plus the apples and carrots, their favourits. (Source: newsphoto)
