Opening ceremony of Fortune Global Forum to be held in Great Hall of People

The opening ceremony of the Fortune Global Forum 2005 will be held in the Great Hall of People in Beijing on Monday, according to the organizer of the forum. The opening ceremony will be in the spotlight of the three-day event. Considering the weather condition, two options were in preparation, one was in the Temple of Heaven and the other was in the Great Hall of People, which are both the symbolic structures in Beijing, said Wang Hui, director of Beijing Information Office,at a press conference on Sunday.

She said that according to the latest weather report, there will be showers or rain on Monday, and the organizer chose the Great Hall of People as the venue of the opening ceremony.
