font size

Former Indonesian Foreign Minister Ali Alatas arrived in Beijing Monday for visit to China on the United Nations (UN) reform.

Alatas is one of the four envoys UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan named on April 4 to assist in promoting the comprehensive reform agenda for the UN summit slated for September this year.

The other three envoys include Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern of Ireland, former Mozambican President Joaquin Chissano and former Mexican President Ernesto Zedillo.
