Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met in Beijing Monday with a delegation from the Rwandese Patriotic Front (RPF) headed by General Secretary Francois Ngarambe. Wang briefed the guests on China's present domestic situation, and introduced the basic views of the CPC and the Chinese government on international affairs.

Ngarambe spoke highly of the experience accumulated by the CPC from the modernization drive, and thanked China's support and assistance to the Rwandese people.

The two sides also had an exchange of views on further promoting relations between the CPC and the RPF and other issues of common concern.
