Increase of investment witnesses regression in Yangtze Delta Region
font size

In light of the rational increase of investment in Yangtze Delta Region, the proportion of total investment against GDP in the region showed the rare downtrend, decreasing to 42.2 percent from the former 43.1 percent in the same period last year.

Under the double role of macro control and market law, the economic development in Yangtze Delta Region in the first quarter this year has got initial success from appropriate adjustment. Some unhealthy and unstable factors in the economic growth has been effectively brought under control, and the tense supply of resources has got eased to an extent, and the rate of economic development has been slowed down.

In spite of the dramatic fall of fixed assets investment, the foreign trade export in various cities in the region still shows a good momentum of strong increase, and the consumption market presents a scene of prosperity. The stimulative effect of three great demands over the regional economic increase tends towards harmony.
