CPPCC vice chairman meets Czech guest

Li Guixian, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met in Beijing Tuesday with Jan Zahradil, former first vice chairman of Czech Civic Democratic Party, and his party.

Li, also president of the Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAIU), said that the Chinese and Czech people enjoy traditional friendship and the relations between the two countries have made fresh progress in recent years.

Zahradil, also a member of the European Parliament, has come to visit China at the invitation of the CAIU.
