China to create better conditions for foreign investors, Premier

China will continue to open its market, improve the legal system, and improve administrative management to create better conditions for foreign investors, said Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao Wednesday.

"We welcome entrepreneurs from around the world to invest in China and conduct economic and technological cooperation in various forms," said Wen during a meeting with entrepreneurs attending the 2005 Fortune Global Forum.

"China is now in an important period of development, and it has a huge market and human resources, and a stable environment to facilitate foreign investment," he said.

Wen said the forum improved exchanges between economic and cultural circles, adding that China will firmly keep to the open policy and play a more active role in international cooperation and competition.

Wen also briefed the guests on China's economic development and answered their questions.
