NPC vice chairman meets German parliamentary delegation

Lu Yongxiang, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, met Thursday with a German parliamentary delegation headed by parliament member, Volker Neumann.

Lu spoke positively about the development of Sino-German parliamentary ties, expressing his hope that the delegation's current visit will strengthen the existing close cooperation between the two parliaments.

The delegation arrived Wednesday on a China visit at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
