A photo exhibition on China's diplomatic achievements was launched in Macao on Friday in the Tourism Tower function hall.
Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of Macao Special Administrative Region; Ma Wanqi, vice-chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and other officials from local and central governments attended the opening ceremony.
Ma Wanqi said while addressing the ceremony that the exhibition demonstrates the great achievements of China's diplomacy since the country's birth in 1949.
It will help the Macao people to know better about their mother nation, added Ma, a Macao-born celebrity.
There are over 300 photos on show at the Photo Exhibition on China's Achievements in Foreign Affairs, covering all major events in the nation's 56-year diplomatic history.
The three-day show is co-sponsored by the Macao Foundation and the Hong Kong-based Wen Wei Po newspaper.
