The Communist Party of China (CPC) will increase communication and cooperation with major political parties in Russia, including the Motherland Party, as party-to- party relations plays an important role in relations between China and Russia, said a senior CPC official in Beijing Sunday.

The development of the strategic cooperative partnership between China and Russia is satisfactory, said Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee during a meeting with D. Rogozin, chairman of the Motherland Party.

Rogozin said promoting state-to-state relations through developing party-to-party relations is a major feature of China- Russia relations. The Motherland Party will take this visit as an opportunity to work for further friendly exchanges and pragmatic cooperation between the two countries, he said.
