China to expand Sino-German parliamentary cooperation
font size

Lu Yongxiang, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), said in Beijing Monday that NPC will continue to beef up exchanges and cooperation with the German Parliament.

Lu made the remarks in his meeting with Hermann Otto Solms, vice-president of the Federal Assembly of the German Parliament.

He said the sound development of Sino-German relations cannot be achieved without the active efforts made by all major parties of German parliament.

Solms is visiting China as guest of Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
