Jia Chunwang, procurator-general of China's Supreme People's Procuratorate, met in Beijing Monday with a visiting Romanian procuratorate delegation, headed by first deputy prosecutor-general Marcel Sampetru.

Jia briefed the guests on China's judicial system, saying the procuratorate organs between the two countries have maintained close exchanges and cooperation in recent years, which in return can help deepen friendship between the two peoples.

Sampetru gave an account of the organizations Romania set up on fighting corruption and organized crimes.
