The Tenth China Building and Construction Trade Fair opened Tuesday in Shanghai's New International Expo Center, and more than 2,500 companies from about 30 countries and regions brought with them their new materials and technologies in house decoration and building.

The fair is sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Shanghai Foreign Economic and Trade Consulting Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Worldwide Exhibitions Service Co. , Ltd.

The organizing committee also invited lawyers, who will provide quick legal advice to the fair attendants.

As the real estate industry booms in China, the huge building material market has attracted attention worldwide.

In Shanghai alone, the sales of construction materials reached 40 billion yuan (4.8 billion US dollars) last year.
