Senior CPC official meets Lao guest

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met Tuesday with Somsavat Lengsavad, central committee member of Lao People's Revolutionary Party (PRP), deputy prime minister and foreign minister.

Wang said he is satisfied with the smooth development of Sino- Lao party relations. He exchanged views with Somsavat on bilateral party exchanges and cooperation as well as important issues of common concern.

Somsavat expressed appreciation for CPC's help and support for PRP. He hopes the two countries can strengthen the relationship of their political parties and enjoy further development of bilateral ties.
