Chinese retailers get policy-based loan
font size

20 giant Chinese retailers will get 50 billion yuan policy-based loans from China Development Bank as a result of an agreement between the bank and the Ministry of Commerce.

This is the first supportive measure by the Ministry of Commerce to prop up 20 large Chinese retailers which are collectively dubbed as "the national team of retailers".

4 Beijing-based retailers, Beijing Hualian, Beijing Gome, Wangfujing Department Store and Beijing Wumei, are included in the list.
