Zhang Yimou-directed Turandot to tour Europe

The Italian opera Turandot directed by Zhang Yimou will make debut at the Stadium of France in Paris on May 28.

By then the opera, which casts 450 actists, will bring forth the grandeur setting of the Forbidden City and 1,500 sets of superb costumes in front of the audience, filling the occidental opera with an oriental flavor.

According to sources the troupe will also tour other countries such as Germany.
