China's top legislator arrives in Malaysia

China's top legislator arrived in Penang on Saturday at the start of a four-day official good- will visit to Malaysia, the last leg of his four-nation Asia- Pacific tour.

Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, arrived from New Zealand. He had already visited Singapore and Australia.

During his stay in Malaysia, Wu will have an in-depth exchange of views with Malaysian leaders on bilateral relations as well as international and regional issues of common concern.

Wu came at the invitation of Ramli Ngah Talib, speaker of the House of Representatives of the Malaysian Parliament.
