Croatian PM concludes China tour

Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader left Shanghai Monday, concluding his five-day official visit to China as guest of Premier Wen Jiabao.

Sanader, who arrived here Sunday, attended a business forum between Croatia and China in this economic hub earlier Monday.

Besides Shanghai, the prime minister had previously visited China's capital Beijing and Xi'an, the capital of northwestern Shaanxi Province.

During his first trip to China after he took office as prime minister in December 2003, Sanader met with Chinese President Hu Jintao and held talks with Premier Wen Jiabao. Sanader and Wen signed a joint statement, announcing the establishment of a comprehensive cooperative partnership between the two countries.
