The Chinese Ministry of Commerce declared today it would put Pyrocatechol originated from the US and Japan under anti-dumping investigation.

The probe, which starts as of May 31, will find whether there is dumping of American and Japanese Pyrocatechol, how severe the dumping is if there is, and what injuries have been caused on the Pyrocatechol sector in China.

Normally the investigation will last a year. An extension till November 30 is possible in a special case.
