A baby slow loris hides in his mother's bosom at the Nanning Zoo May 30. The Zoo announced that China's first human-bred slow loris has survived successfully. The two-week-old slow loris is now in good condition. There are four slow lorises in the Nanning Zoo plus this one.

Summer resort of Dalai Lamas to reopen after renovation
Workers are busy in renovating the roof of a palace in Norbug Linkha, the prestigious summer resort of Dalai Lamas in Lhasa, capital of southeast Tibet Autonomous Region, May 30, 2005. The Park of Norbug, meaning "the treasure garden" in the Tibetan language, will reopen to the tourists in early June after undergoing major repairs this year. The project formerly commenced in 2002 with an investment of 67.40 million yuan (about 8.15 million US dollars).
