China to further open civil aviation market

China's civil aviation administration will put more efforts in opening up the market actively, orderly and eventually, said director of the Civil Aviation Administration of China Yang Yuanyuan.

By the end of 2004 China had signed 96 bilateral air transportation accords with foreign countries. At present restrictions on right to operate passenger and cargo transportation have been lifted in cities like Haikou and Nanjing. The market access control has been gradually eased at domestic market. Private capitals have gained permission to invest in and operate airline company.
