Chinese color TV giant Changhong developed China's largest flat panel display TV and have its 55-inch LCD TV and 65-inch PDP TV into mass production on June 2 in Sichuan where it is based.

The two production lines are the first for the largest flat panel display TVs which are fully developed by China.

Experts believe this marks Chinese enterprises have broken the technological monopoly by Japan and South Korea.
