A global conference marking the 60th anniversary of the victory in the anti-Fascist war and for the promotion of the peaceful reunification of China, jointly initiated by an Austrian organization and European Association for Peaceful Reunification of China, will be held August 15 to 16 in Vienna.

Some 1,000 representatives from more than 150 countries will reportedly attend the event.

The conference will hold a "World Peace and China's Peaceful Reunification Global Summit Forum", in an effort to further isolate and contain "Taiwan independence" separatist forces by calling for Chinese worldwide to take action at their respective living countries to join in the great cause of promoting the peaceful reunification of the motherland.
