Tajikistan President meets Chinese official

Emomali Rakhmonov, president of Tajikistan and chairman of the People's Democracy Party (PDP) of Tajikistan, met in Dunshanbe, capital of Tajikistan Friday with He Yong, a member of Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Committee, both sides agreed to further improve relations between the two countries and the two parties.

According to a news released issued by the Chinese delegation which was obtained here Friday, the Chinese official said that the CCP attaches great importance to the relations with the PDP and will further step up the exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and the two countries.

Rakhmonov said the relationship between the two ruling parties has great importance in the relations between the two countries.

His party will further develop the exchanges and cooperation between the two parties and exchange views on issues of mutual concern.

He, who leads a CCP delegation, arrived in Tajikistan on Wednesday for a visit at the invitation of the PDP.
