Chinese defense minister stresses friendship with Gabonese army

Chinese Defense Minister Cao Gangchuan met Ondo Jean-Remy, secretary general of the Gabonese Defense Ministry, Friday afternoon.

Cao, also vice-chairman of China's Central Military Commission and a state councilor, accentuated the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and armies during the meeting.

"China is willing to make joint efforts with Gabon to further deepen and broaden friendly cooperation in every area," he said.

Ondo spoke highly of bilateral ties and expressed wishes to continue enhancing military exchanges and cooperation.
