Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and his Belgian counterpart Karel de Gucht held talks in Beijing on Tuesday.

During the talks, the two sides discussed Sino-Belgian and Sino- European relations and other international issues of common concerns, such as the reform of the United Nations, diplomatic sources said.

Belgian King Albert II is here on an eight-day state visit to China. It is the first China tour by a Belgian head of state in the past 24 years.
