    China celebrates Dragon Boat Festival

    A dragon-boat race is held in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China, June 9, 2005, to mark traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival which falls on the May 5th of the Chinese lunar calendar, or June 11 this year. The Dragon Boat Festival has been observed to commemorate Qu Yuan, a famous patriotic ancient poet. Chinese people also have the habit to make and eat "Zongzi", a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves, during the Festival.

    China, EU reach deal on textile trade dispute
