font size

A suicide car bomber blew himself up outside the Slovakian Embassy in Baghdad on Saturday, injuring four Iraqis, witnesses said.

The attack took place at about 3:00 p.m. (1100 GMT) in Baghdad's southern district of Jadriyah.

The suicide bomber drove an explosive-laden vehicle in front of the embassy and detonated it, wounding four people and only killing himself, according to the witnesses.

Slovakia has a small troop of 109 soldiers in Iraq mainly working on de-mining.
