Chinese FM talks to Luxembourg, EU officials over phone

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing talked over the phone Friday night separately with his Luxembourg counterpart Jean Asselborn and Javier Solana Madariaga, secretary-general of the European Union Council and EU senior representative for Foreign and Security Policy.

They exchanged views on further developing China-Luxembourg and China-EU relations, diplomatic sources said, but didn't give more details.

Luxembourg is currently holding the rotating presidency of the European Union.
