A cargo plane crashed on Monday near Fort Lauderdale, in the southeastern state of Florida, but there were no immediate reports of casualties so far.
The DC-3 cargo plane crashed and burned in a residential neighborhood during takeoff, several kilometers east of Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, a Federal Aviation Administration official said.
It was not known how many people were aboard the plane, and firefighters were at the scene to put out the fire on the burning wreckage.
