Senior CPC official meets with Guyanan delegation

Wang Zhaoguo, a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met with a delegation from the People's National Congress (PNC) Party of Guyana in Beijing on June 14.

Wang, also vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chinese National People's Congress, spoke positively about the friendly relationship between the two countries and two parties.

Wang also gave the guests a brief account oft China's present domestic situation.

Robert Corbin, PNC leader and head of the delegation, said the Guyanan PNC adheres firmly to the one-China policy and will continue to maintain and further develop its friendly relations with the CPC.

The Guyanan delegation arrived here on June 11 for a visit to China at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.
