Car sales rank from January to May unveiled

According to the latest statistics from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the First Auto Works, the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, Chang'an Motor Corp and Beijing Automotive Industry Shareholding Co. Ltd. are China's top five automakers in terms of sales volume. The five enterprises have sold 1,505,700 automobiles from January to May, representing 66.3 percent of the gross sales in China.

The sales of the five enterprises are 374,500, 317,800, 293,000, 268,800 and 251,600 respectively. The Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation and FAW have seen slight decrease in sales; while other three have maintained stable growth.
