Suicide car bomb kills eight Iraqi policemen in Baghdad
A suicide car bomb detonated near an Iraqi police patrol in eastern Baghdad on Wednesday, killing at least eight policemen, police said.
The suicide attacker drove an explosive-laden vehicle close to a police patrol at about 4:15 p.m. (1215 GMT) in Baghdad's eastern district of Zafaraniyah, police said.
Dozens of Iraqis were wounded along with several cars destroyed in the blast, they added.
