Senior CPC official meets federal president of Australian Liberal Party

Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), met in Beijing Wednesday with Shane L. Stone, Federal President of the Liberal Party of Australia.

Wang said that the CPC is ready to improve exchanges with all major parties in Australia to further explore and deepen cooperation between the two countries.

He also briefed Stone on China's position on the United Nations reform.

Stone said he would continue to promote party exchange and cooperation between Australia and China.
