News from Sinopec's Beijing marketing branch says Sinopec has raised gasoline wholesale prices for the Beijing region. Price for the 90# was raised by 50 yuan per ton to 4,600 yuan per ton. Price for the 93# hiked by 80 yuan to 4,800 yuan per ton while the 97# is sold at 5,040 yuan per ton. However, there have been no changes to the retail prices.
In the meantime the Fujian marketing branch of China Petroleum has implemented temporary wholesale price rise on 0# diesel for direct users whose supply is above 8 tons at a time. The price rise was appraised and decided on 159 yuan per ton. Wholesale prices for refined products in the Shanghai region also rose somewhat.
As learned gasoline retail prices in regions such as Chengdu, Shandong and Yunan moved a little bit downward.
An official with Sinopec said the price adjustments of Sinopec's refined oil products are purely internal adjustments, which were caused by the price hike of crude oil and refined oil products in the international market. Minor price adjustments in some regions are normal market behaviors.
