He urged the two sides to improve trade structure in an effort to promote the common development of the two economies. The State Duma will create a legal guarantee for strengthening bilateral economic ties, he said.
Premier Wen spoke highly of Sino-Russian relations, saying that the strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries witnessed a sound and stable development with the guideline of Sino-Russian Good-Neighborly Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.

"The Chinese government attaches importance to Sino-Russian relations and will make joint efforts with Russia to strengthen the two countries' cooperation in an all-round way and strategic coordination in a bid to push bilateral ties to a new high," Wen said.
