font size

Shenzhen sanitation authority has issued a notice of administrative penalty to Shenzhen Häagen-Dazs, according to which the Shenzhen Häagen-Dazs is fined 50,000 yuan. At present its five outlets have suspended cake sales, but ice creams and hot and cold drinks are still on sale.

The "black workshop" closed down by the Shenzhen sanitation authority specializes in cakes production, including ice cream cakes. During inspection in five Shenzhen Häagen-Dazs outlets, the sanitation authority finds that the Jinguanghua and Diwang outlets have only sanitation permission for sales of hot and cold drinks, and they fail to present sanitation permission and examination report for recently made products.

The sanitation authority checked ice cream samples taken from Shenzhen Häagen-Dazs' outlets too. The report will be completed after two to three days.
